CTA (Call to Action)
An instruction to the audience designed to provoke an immediate response, usually using an imperative verb.
A Call to Action (CTA) is the most critical element of any marketing page. It’s the button, link, or form that tells the user exactly what to do next, whether it’s “Book a Demo,” “Download Now,” or “Get Started.”
Characteristics of a High-Converting CTA
- High Contrast: The button color should stand out from the rest of the page.
- Action-Oriented Copy: Use strong verbs that imply a benefit (e.g., “Get My Free Audit” vs. “Submit”).
- Strategic Placement: Place CTAs both “Above the Fold” and at logical transition points in the content.
- Clear Value: The user should know exactly what they will get by clicking.
